About me

I have gained valuable experience in the education and voluntary sectors which I am looking to combine with my academic qualifications in a role within the publishing sector. I believe that I have a number of skills which are applicable in my career objective. My BA Hons degree in English Literature required me to work to deadlines with an analytical eye. As a teaching assistant I developed organisational and communication skills through collaborating with staff and parents via telephone, Outlook and meetings and assisting with data collection. I also have some experience in an admin assistant role and have passed online courses in Copywriting, Proofreading and Editing and SEO Content Writing. In my career to date, I believe I have demonstrated the capacity to work well as part of a team and as a self-starter through my work in schools and as part of a charity volunteer team.
