About me
I am an architect and cultural manager, initiator and collaborator for numerous projects from the cultural and creative sectors, involved in various NGOs (ÎN COMUNITATE, DE-A ARHITECTURA, MOJAR) who are dealing, among others, with community empowerment over public space, participatory processes, architecture practice and education. Since 2015, I am constantly collaborating with the Romanian Order of Architects - Timiș Territorial Branch (OAR Timiș) in organizing and coordinating architecture events, such as BETA - Timișoara Architecture Biennial (2016-present), POLIS travelling exhibition (2017), or CITY VIEW (Privește Orașul!) public campagin (2015-2020). Since 2018, I am a member of the Expert Committee of the European Prize for Urban Public Space. Since 2016, I am working with an interdisciplinary group of 9 professionals on a project called FOR, which is a platform for researching and building solutions for the current challenges related to space production and contemporary work (why, how, when and where do we work today). One of the solutions, provided by FOR together with local key partners, active in the cultural and civic field, is called FABER - a re-converted industrial space, dedicated to the creative community, that will open its doors in 2020.
