Alexandra von Schelling is a film & video editor, as well as an assistant editor. She has worked on films, music videos, promotional videos and live performances in English, Spanish & Portuguese. Her most recent work as an editor includes: a Spanish version of the feature documentary 'Running for the Revolution' for Stopwatch Productions, a series of concerts part of the 'Late Summer Jazz' programme for ARTE television channel, a short film about Fidel Castro and Che Guevara's personal photographers for The Other Guy Productions, and a teaser for a feature documentary about the Irish singer Camille O'Sullivan for Red Shoe Productions. Alexandra von Schelling also has a background in filmmaking. Her films have explored pressing political and social issues through personal stories. Her films have won awards at film festivals and been screened on television. Her previous experience as a filmmaker has informed her practice as an editor. It has allowed her to understand the complexities of storytelling, as well as the importance of the relationship between director and editor.
