Like my father and grandfather before me, I was born with an instinct for the arts. By the age of 8, I was taking my first step on the classical guitar and by the age of 12, I had already decided that I wanted to be a graphic designer. Little did I know that 6 years later, I would enter Belas-Artes only to fall in love with video and photography.
My professional journey began in 2016, working as an intern for the first Portuguese online magazine, called Magnética Magazine. Until 2019 I was responsible for creating image and video content for online posts about art, music, fashion, and lifestyle.
By 2017 I began to work as an in-house photographer, videographer, and motion designer for Edit.Set.Go!, a content production agency based in Lisbon. For the past 5 years, I was able to develop my skills as a creative and had the chance to work with brands such as EDP Renewables, Jerónimo Martins Group, Eurelectric, and BNP Paribas.
Over the last few years, I've also had the pleasure of working as a photographer and videographer for art projects such as Poster Mostra, produced by a culture and art amplifier called Departamento, or working as a product photographer for a Portuguese brand called Lobo Apparel.
Right now, I'm an in-house motion designer for a digital agency named Alice, with a special focus on social media, making out-of-the-box videos and animations for brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Chiquita, Nova Açores, or Lenovo. In my free time, I've also been working as a motion designer, as well as a VFX artist, with some film production companies - Jumpcut and Loudness Films - doing simple special effects, animations, or opening titles.
Whether it's an institutional project or a more creative assignment, I'm always in my habitat. Always focused on creating something unique and triggering emotions.
When I'm not in front of the computer or on set, you can find me in the water, training my surf photography skills, or taking a long walk with my 1-year-old dog, "Chuma". I'm also a big sci-fi fan and a music lover. From 90s hip-hop, soul, and r&b to stone rock, jazz, and classical music.
