About me
I am currently working as an Assistant Garment Technologist for a high end ready to wear company, who own both a regular womenswear brand and a maternity brand. I am based in London.
I am a dedicated and hard worker who enjoys being part of a thriving, busy team. My key skills include very high level organisational and time management skills; I feel these are my key attributes. I am also very adaptable and a quick learner when it comes to applying my existing knowledge to new processes and companies.
I am an approachable and motivated person, who enjoys putting forward fresh ideas and also learning from others in the team. I am always keen to build and improve on my existing industry knowledge through new experiences, and I'm eager to take on new tasks or responsibilities.

I currently work as an assistant garment technologist for company who own both a ready to wear womenswear brand and a ready to wear maternity brand. I really enjoy the thriving nature of working across two brands, and feel I have really honed my time management skills through being part of this busy team.
Although I currently work as an assistant garment technologist, much of my job has cross over tasks with product development related aspects due to the small nature of the team at my current company. I feel my highly organised nature, key ability to multi task and method of prioritising workload has helped me successfully manage both aspects of my job.
Being a garment technologist has also given me good technical knowledge of construction and fabrication of garment, as well as built upon my existing practical skills- including the use of Microsoft excel and adobe illustrator, which I use daily in the creation of technical packs and maintenance of sample tracking documents.

During my four year undergraduate course I was lucky enough to complete a placement year in industry, during which I worked for a womenswear brand based in London, and also for in New York for a large supplier company. Working in New York was an incredible experience which built upon my technical skills and knowledge and also gave me an amazing life experience, improving my resilience and giving me motivation and drive for my working life after graduation.
I was also privileged to complete my final major project as a collaboration with the London based brand LK Bennett. This gave me a good background in high end womenswear, which I really enjoyed.
