I am an experienced communications manager with an unusual versatility. I have experience in B2B comms, external, and internal communications, event management, creative industries, professional services, IT, concept development, managing projects, team building, producing content for all channels, briefs, presentations, intranet, stakeholder relations, crisis, change management, content platforms and all that jazz. I love this with a passion and it is a natural fit for me.
Maybe unlike others, I like compartmentalising, when it is professional communications, it is professional communications but not in my free time—no, thank you!
Writing is my vocation, my job is the hobby that I could do with my eyes shut and my hands tied at the back. I am into lifelong learning, pushing boundaries, learning something new, and most of all, writing.
I have 8 books under my belt, none of which is self-published, but would like to get down to the basics and start writing again in all genres. Maybe I am far from perfect but I need to grow. Oh, this year I engaged global partners for my company, wrote a few poems, completed a few paintings and wrote some pieces but surely I could do something more...!
I am also an OOO artist, meaning, of course, an out-of-office hours artist, painting and immediately going for the best I can do and I make everything work in a project management fashion. I am after progress rather than perfection but as I am competitive, I do expect at least one outstanding achievement at least in every Q.
However, I am a moderate and practical perfectionist. I try to temper down my passion but do not buy into believing that you can cross the chasm in two little steps. For all functions I have different personalities, which helps me to keep things separate. As a comms manager I am practical, brief, crisp, getting to the point and can negotiate a contract within 8 minutes because time is money.
As an artist, or in projects it is different, I am whatever I need to be to provide the best service.
So far I have never encountered anything undoable that requires creativity and hard work.
If you feel like you would like to give it a go, just PM me, I am easy to get on with and I am a good team player, will support your success as I take ownership of it. Whenever the suspicion arises in my head that I have an ego, I quickly work it off, so it is pretty easy to get on well with me, just drop me a line and please challenge me to do something I have never done before. I wish I could fail! No, no that was too complacent and insincere... but I am always happy to find out how far I can go, I am sure you are familiar with the T.S. Eliot quote I live by, 'Only people going far can find out how far one can go!' :-)

- Shakespeare Solos — 'The quality of mercy' monologue in The Merchant of Venice by Shakespeare. As PortiaShakespeare Solos project is an unparalleled inspiration to honour the incredibly rich tapestry of culture. Shakespeare was and is universal. It is incredible to see that while we are listening to the noise of the modern world with its technological developments, giants, climate crises, poverty, wars, species that are becoming rapidly extinct, the pandemic, we are tossed to look for lasting values. Toying with a Shakespeare text at the dawn of a new year is not a bad pastime. It sets the tone
- Strategic Communications & Mentoring & GhostwritingAs I mentioned previously, some of my works are confidential in nature. I have achieved a few results on my own but am absolutely passionate about helping talents get the opportunity to flourish and adore pushing boundaries and reaching for a target that is, realistically speaking, unattainable--while being practical and down-to-earth, making the impossible possible (and who understands that everything is just a matter of framing better than a philologist-journalist?). Yet in truth, if somethin
