Clay Collective is a group of 12 artists and practitioners working with clay who share a ceramic studio in Hackney Downs. I joined the collective at the end of 2018 and have been developing my ceramic practice since then. With a background in architecture, I like to experiment with form, function and materiality. My collection of tablewares and vases are made with a variety of clays and a minimal colour palette to show and enhance the natural qualities of the materials.

I worked on a variety of large scale residential, mixed-uses and masterplanning projects, from Stage 0 to 3, and occasionally on bids or international competition. My responsibilities included developing the design, producing drawings and liaising with the design team and client for coordination. I started as an Architectural Assistant and became an Architect after completing my Part 3 qualification. Projects included: Barbers Road residential scheme planning application, Paris les 4 Temps competition, Adamston Station new town center concept and planning, The Crown Estate bid, and Greystar Nine Elms planning application.
