I have recently graduated from Abbey Road Institute where I received an Advanced Diploma in Music Production and Sound Engineering. I have been writing music for many years but got into Production 5 years ago. Since then I have focused on writing and recording with as many artists as possible. My year at Abbey Road really enabled me to get as much experience in the studio as possible as well as meeting great musicians and other producers and engineers. I am looking to continue to develop my portfolio and maintain my learning through regular sessions.
Assistant engineer at Cafe Oto for TURQUAZZ Jazz Festival: Assisted the Head Engineer at Cafe Oto I helped with set up, soundcheck, monitoring during the performance and packing up I gained new knowledge about mic positions for less mainstream instruments such as the Kamancha
Sound Engineer at Abbey Road Institute: I worked with a number of Artists during my time at Abbey Road My roles included Sound Assistant, Tape Operator, Live Room Operator, Music Producer, Sound Engineer Examples of records I worked on that have been released since: Chance by Rayowa, Flee by Jack Hyphen, Multiple tracks by French Freddie I also composed and produced my EP while being at Abbey Road which is to be released in 2020
Shadowed an engineer at The Roundhouse: I sat in on a band recording for a day at The Roundhouse, Camden The session was 6 hours in duration and covered setting up all the equipment and various recording techniques I gained knowledge of recording techniques and discovered more about the general studio environment
Ski Season: I worked for Chambers Company The job consisted of cleaning chalets and looking after guests throughout their stay The chalets were high end quality which involved a lot of organisation and good time management from myself.
Beer + Burger: I worked as a barmaid and waitress in the Willesden Green Branch. This involved improvement in customer awareness, teamwork, time management/ prioritisation and working under pressure.
Volunteered for Hotbox Events at Latitude Festival: Helped festival goers get the most out of their festival, this included: Helping with directions Answering questions about performances and line ups Reporting any problems to senior management Working alongside fire safety/medical and security teams Monitoring stages and walkways
Paperhouse Music (Music and Entertainment Management and Promotion): Organised and sent off merchandise requests Reviewed and took note of all previous London gigs for Paperhouse music signed artists
True Rocks Company - Social Media Organiser: Set up and managed the social media department of True Rock Jewellery Company (Twitter, Instagram and Facebook)
‘The Other Ball’ - Event assistant: Checked in and welcomed guests onto the red carpet Helped to organise the press department
I completed a one year Advanced Diploma in Music Production and Sound Engineering at Abbey Road Institute.
I studied at Francis Holland School from 2010 until 2017 and gained 10 GCSEs and 4 A Levels.
