    Summer InternLondon Grace
     - London, United KingdomInternship
For two months over the summer of 2019, I was a paid intern at the head office of London Grace, a company that operates 10 high-end nail bars in London as well as an on-line store. I assisted in the HR, PR and advertising departments and when one of the senior members of staff was away, I had to take on a lot of additional responsibility. London Grace successfully opened their 10th store whilst I was working for them. I gained an invaluable insight into how companies promote their brand and increase their visibility, especially within the catchment area of the new shop, whilst helping with lots of administrative and organisational jobs.

    Volunteer teacherSTAR
     - Bristol, United KingdomPart Time
Throughout my time at university I volunteered for STAR (Student action for Refugees), which involved tutoring and mentoring a refugee child every week. I was incredibly passionate about this and the experience was very rewarding. It both allowed me to create a relationship with a child and see them gradually improve academically but equally pushed me to find ways to communicate concepts that were challenging for a child whose first language was not English. In recognition of my work, I was given the Bristol Plus Award which recognises outstanding work within the community.

Foundation Diploma in Art and DesignCity and Guilds of London Art School
     - London, United Kingdom
Received a diploma in art and design (Merit) Prior to my degree at Bristol, I completed an Art Foundation at City and Guilds Art School in London and qualified with a merit, proving my creative yet ambitious side. It allowed me to try out many of the skill sets within the art and design sector and a final exhibition brought together my work from the whole year. Whilst I mostly worked independently, there were group projects that required me to express my ideas and visions in a collaborative, constructive manner in order to get the best final results. The curation of the final show required a lot of organisation and visual creativity whilst, with 100 other students needing to present, ensuring everyone was content with their
