The renowned Fashion and Dress History degree at Brighton is part of the umbrella of History of Art and Design courses, with much crossover until the final year. Part of the School of Humanities, the course taught me skills in writing, researching, time management, group work, self-motivation and presenting, and resulted in excellent oral and written communication skills and an in depth knowledge of fashion and dress throughout the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as of art and design more generally.
