About me
Alice Martin is a Manchester-based photographer. With her roots in documentary, she explores the emotions and relationships between people and places.
Guided by intuition, an inner-curiosity, and sensitivity, Alice is able to connect with her subject matter on a deeper level, providing an intimate insight to her encounters and observations. This loose approach allows stories to develop organically within her projects, forming genuine reflections of her lived experiences along with the lives of others.
This unrestrained method of photographing also pushes and merges her documentary technique with portraiture, landscape, and fashion. Thus, allowing Alice to work across the spectrum and securing commissions alongside her personal work.
Alice graduated with a First in BA (Hons) Photography from Kingston University in July 2021.
