About me

I have been lucky enough to work side by side with some of the most influential & knowledgeable people in the music industry at two of the biggest companies, Sony ATV & Island Records (Universal Music) in the last few years. With 3 years in the marketing team at Island & a year and a half in A&R/Publishing at ATV under my belt I am now excited for my next step. During my time at Island I worked on campaigns for priority acts such as Mumford & Sons, Hozier, Disclosure, Ben Howard and U2, each one different and each one bringing many hurdles to overcome but also many rewarding moments including x6 Number 1 albums. I was able to make some great relationships both internal & external, something that I feel is one of my biggest strengths and something that I enjoy developing. My time at Sony ATV opened the door to more great talent and gave me a different view of the industry. I’ve always had a keen interest in A&R, being up to date with the newest artists, producers and trends is more of a way of life for me and something that I’ve always done. At Sony I was able to gain more insight into the creative processes’ of artists/writers and producers, something that I feel was invaluable and will help to inform future choices when working directly with artists. My time as day to day management with Stefflon Don though short bought me back to the frontline of a campaign. As one of the main points of contact for the label and wider team I was exposed to every aspect of the campaign from creative to logistics and definitely pulled on my experience/contacts from my 2 previous roles during this time. I am keen to continue developing my skills and challenging myself further whilst making sure to always keep the passion and love for the music front and centre.
