Fashion ManagementNottingham Trent University

I'm currently in my first year at Nottingham Trent University studying for a BA (Hons) in Fashion Management. My Design and Visual Communication (20 credits) module has given me invaluable skills with software packages such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. I’ve been selected to work on a live project with Knoll Yarns to produce promotional material which will be exhibited at Pitti Filati in Florence.
Fashion Management and Marketing (40 credits) has provided me with a great insight into the business side of the fashion industry. I have enjoyed learning about various job roles within the industry and would like to pursue a career in fashion marketing. In the Fashion Textiles and Product (60 credits) module I have completed a number of presentations regarding the construction of garments. Presenting in front of an audience has given me great confidence in public speaking. I write regularly on a blog to document my progress in the course and to log the many exciting experiences I’ve had the opportunity to take part in.
