About me
Alice Revell is an artist and print designer specialising in sustainability, pattern and colour. She uses her art to portray messages and tell stories; primarily based around environmental issues. 'Trash Talk,' her solo works, exhibited at the OXO Tower in London for World River's Day 2019, raising issues surrounding plastic pollution. Currently Alice is an Ambassador for Sustainable Fashion Week, raising awareness of circular fashion. She organised the Instagram live talks on the programme as well as the NUW clothes swap collaboration. As well as this she also is co-lead of both the Design team and Social Media team at non-profit ClimaTalk. Having worked in a London based print design studio Alice has a very adaptable handwriting that encompasses both commercial and non-commercial design. The majority of works were hand created and manipulated on Photoshop to create prints. Designs were sold to fashion, homeware and stationary brands worldwide. Alice is confident working both to a brief and completely self directed as well to meeting strict deadlines. Being a team player is key to Alice. She makes sure to adopt other roles to expand her knowledge, such as working as a saleswoman at Premiere Vision Paris, drawing story boards for film and sewing garments to fulfil the tasks that need to be achieved.

'Rodeo and Juliet' - Mary Katrantzou Fall 2016Based on Vintage Americana, this collection drew influence from 1960s Prom Queens and the Rhinestone Cowboy suits of Nudie Cohn. I primarily worked with fabric piecing and appliqué techniques, playing with textures and mixing technical and traditional fabrics with lurex thread work to create an off-kilter aesthetic for outerwear pieces. Working in collaboration with Swarovski, we combined crystals with laser cutting processes and fabric lamination, creating a modern take on the vintage prom dr
