About me
I am a passionate BA Textiles Student studying at Arts University Bournemouth, driven by creating surface pattern and design for textiles within fashion and interiors.
Throughout my studies, I have developed a strong enthusiasm for digital work and fabric manipulation which lead me to create stimulating and engrossing fabrics. One of my proudest achievements throughout Arts University was showcasing my designs at Premier Vision Paris 2019.
Additionally, experience working part-time as a Textiles Studio Assistant has provided me the opportunity to assist and guide other AUB students within a textiles environment. As well as this, working as a Customer Assistant in Tesco allowed me to strengthen my customer service skills. By working within a diverse range of teams across rapid paced periods of change, I’ve been able to utilise a wide range of transferable skills. As a result, I am the current owner of the home-grown baking business ‘The Gooey Baker’. I have used my skills coherently and am able to reflect my creativity through my products, marketing design alongside communicating with customers.
