About me
Having worked as an administrator and secretary for many years I finally decided to pursue my passion for writing. Having dabbled with a blog for several years last October I decided to concentrate on this aspect of my career. Ever since I have regularly been invited to events and sent items to review on my blog www.themiddlesister.co.uk.
I have written for Local Secrets a local on-line magazine and collaborated with Cambridge Style Week for several years.
I have discovered a love of photography and also wish to pursue this as a career option.

Part Time Research Grants Administrator

• Finding grants and schemes are available for the Department of Sociology and Politics academics in order for them to continue/further their research
• Helping the professors apply for schemes and monitoring the process of the application
• Dealing with ad hoc queries from academics outside of the University
• Checking terms and conditions of grants and the professors eligibility to apply
• Handling the finance budgets for current and future schemes
• Keeping up-to-date with new and future grants that may become available
• Keeping good records of each grant and details of correspondence
• Dealing with financial queries
