About me
I am a recent Graduate looking for my first job in the Broadcast industry, eager to practice all I have learnt and develop my skills. I am enthusiastic and a quick learner, always pushing myself to improve and happy to go the extra mile. Managing my dyslexia has developed my perseverance, resilience and attention to detail.

     - Coventry, United Kingdom
have recently graduated with a First-Class Degree in Media and Communications at Coventry University. I have learnt a lot about the media industry, gained research and production skills, and have become a media professional. A highlight of my degree was creating my Final Major project, a six-episode Podcast called ‘Reduce Reuse Reblog’ available on Apple Podcast and Spotify, which won the ‘Media and Communications Course Award’ (2020). During my time at Coventry University I have achieved Accreditation in the ACA Qualification in Adobe Photoshop (2017). I wrote for Source News, Coventry’s Student Magazine, and was ‘Shortlisted for CUSU Best Source News Member Award’ (2017). Additionally, I contributed to Phoenix Radio, the university’s student radio, for three years. I have undertaken multiple work experience opportunities within the Broadcasting Industry. Including a year long work placement at UCB, a National Radio Station, where I undertook a variety of roles, and one project for which I was the Broadcast Assistant and Researcher for, came Runner-Up in the Sandford St Martin Awards (2020).

     - Royal Tunbridge Wells, Tunbridge Wells, United Kingdom
For my A-Levels I studied Media Studies (A), Home Economics (A) and English Literature (B), as well as taking AS Religious Studies which encompassed Ethics and Philosophy (B). I am proud of undertaking English Literature, despite my dyslexia, as it was hard work and required perseverance to do well in the subject. I made the decision to transition from BTEC Media Studies to A-Level in Media, which helped teach me the academic content including research and media theory, in addition to media production skills which I had learnt during my BTEC. This increased my passion for media and helped me to improve the quality of my work whilst giving me an understanding of media’s place in society and how the industry works. During my A-Levels I became good at time management, balancing a range of exams and major projects of the two years, and motivating myself to do my best in everything no matter how hard I find it. I also participated in many extra-circular activities such as completing the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award and taking part in the Model United Nations, which helped me to develop teamwork, public speaking and going beyond my comfort zone.
