About me

Hello, my name is Alina Akobiia I was born in 1987 and grew up in St Petersburg, Russia. I finished university in business management and decided the city was too small so moved to Moscow at 20 years old. Shortly after, Russia started to seem too small which pushed me to begin exploring the world. I spent my younger years working as a model and have lived in Asia, America, Europe, South Africa and North America.  After 4 years of photography, I started to create short films and absolutely fell in love with film making. I like to work with people who also passionate about art, film, photography and life. My ideal job and collaboration is with fashion brands, magazines or anyone who is interested of short beautiful films for commercial purposes and more… I am based in between London and Porto, however love to travel so give me an excuse!
