Responsible of the Social and Human Sciences (SHS) Sector and programme implementation fulfilling Human Rights based approaches (HRBA) and gender equality transversality for the five countries the Cluster Office covers: Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Panama. Mobilised research and policy-making with the academia to prevent violence, promote a culture of peace, support social transformations, foster inclusion and intercultural dialogue among young women and men, migrants, indigenous people, afrodescendents, LGBTI persons and people with disabilities, emphasizing gender issues. As focal point for youth, advocated in favour of youth-led and youth-focused initiatives including political engagement. Implemented work plans under a result based management framework and developed an action plan, timeline budget, risk mitigation plan and proposal to evaluate each of the six projects that fell under my responsibility. Engaged constantly with key external stakeholders (political, institutional and public actors) as well as NGO’s and other organisations. Advocate for capacity strengthening, innovation, inclusive law and policy-making at the institutional level, with the Executive, Legislative power and the Ombudsmen on UNESCO’s mandates and the 17 SDG’s.
Responsible for the planning and implementation of all public relation strategies; liaise with global clients, producers and selected top media outlets. Elaborate and distribute press releases; seek for sponsorships, special collaborations and new market opportunities worldwide; Organise the participation of ASZTALOS in major industry-related events such as Maison&Objet (Miami - Paris) and Salone di Mobile (Milan).
