From my time at the FRA, I have participated in a student assignment called industry week. This is where the business, My Wardrobe HQ, gave students a brief to re-design their shop space. This was a very interesting experience. During this period I was able to work on Soft skills such as teamwork, leadership and communication. Additionally, I was also able to learn some new skills such as how to make a budget sheet in Excel and how to create a floor plan. All of these skills were then used to create a five minute presentation. This was then presented to members of the brand and other tutors at the collage. Nonetheless, this experience was very useful and will certainly be helpful for me to use in a future career.

For my work experience I worked at Risky LTD, a female's clothing store. My main duties were to work in a team, labelling the prices of the products, making sure the shop floor was clean and tidy as well as assisting customers when they needed help. From my experience, I used my problem-solving skills to assist a customer to find an alternative product that they were looking for. I also used participated in visual merchandising, where I dressed mannequins with products to advertise in the store.
