Currently I am studying for my masters degree in International Fashion Marketing at the British School of Fashion in Shoreditch. The course involves studying a range of modules including Digital Fashion Branding, Consumer Led Fashion, Strategic Fashion Marketing and Global Strategy, My dissertation will focus on the consumer behaviour journey via multi devices. I was lucky enough to be awarded a scholarship by Marks and Spencer to allow me to study for my masters degree.
I worked as part of the marketing team to promote the Zomato application in London. My role involved writing reviews about various restaurants and helping out with the social media marketing via Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
As part of the marketing team for Dog Digital I managed client’s digital and social media campaigns. These campaigns were focused on business growth and delivering a positive return on investment. Activities included pay per click, social media, email marketing, and display advertising. These campaigns were a core part of a client’s marketing plan. Campaign measurement and reporting were a key output for all campaign activity, while managing an ecommerce client I increased their sales by 59% in 10 months and increased applications for an education client by 24% in the last year. I also managed the relationship with the client and continuously updated them on the progress on their campaign. By working on a variety of channels I have been able to develop my digital skills and help a number of business grow their business. Some of the campaigns I have worked on include: •Setting up and managing Facebook and Twitter Advertising for UEFA to promote the Euro’s and Championship League •Facebook Adverts, Media buying and Google advertising for Scottish Ballet •Ad Trafficking for Aberdeen Asset Management •Managing Facebook advertising for London 2012 and Glasgow 2014
During a graduate placement with Scottish Enterprise I worked on their social media strategy to promote the use of social media within the company and create a policy and guidelines of how to use the mechanisms to promote the company.
I was lucky enough to be selected to undertake an internship in Boston for 8 weeks with Liberty Mutual. I managed a marketing project to establish an improved sales force distribution model. This involved undertaking an analysis of the market place including current and potential customers by state. Based on this analysis an options appraisal was undertaken to establish credible options and a recommendation of the best solution to meet the organisational objectives. The work I undertook was highly praised by the senior manager who planned to implement the recommended solution.
During twelve week placement with a luxury lingerie retailer were my responsibilities included market research, data analysis, helping with web enquiries and setting up a system to deal with damaged stock
During my time at Topshop my role required me to provide excellent customer service, process transactions and open account cards. As I worked in a smaller store I was also involved in unpacking deliveries and the visual merchandising of the store.
