Hi, I’m Alison – nice to meet you! Born and raised in Brussels, Belgium, but currently living in Ghent, I graduated in Communications in 2010 and worked in various fields since then. I interviewed some of your favorite artists and actors, I promoted film festivals, I worked as a copywriter, I wrote advice about family, lifestyle, beauty & fashion, and I even translated a couple of books!
Since 2016, I’ve been combining a few of my passions (music, words and languages) and started to establish myself as a music publicist. I’ve collaborated with many independent artists across the globe but also major and indie labels. I’ve actually even been hired full-time by one: I promoted the Weird !s Good’s roster for 3 years, also dabbing at booking, radio plugging, management and A&R’s tasks! In 2020, I made the decision to go back to freelancing: while I will continue to work closely with the label, it will also allow me to help way more unsigned acts on their journey.
I love to work with artists I truly believe in and strive, with love and care, to use storytelling and my contacts to shine a light on their music.
