When something matters you need to stand up for it. For me honesty, integrity and fairness matter and these are the values I bring to my work. As a storyteller I use words to create brand narratives that position products and services, human stories that connect and link people together and content that drives action. The stories I tell communicate organisational values, impact and promise. Strategic and commercially driven I have experience of working at board and executive level leading the marketing and communications function for Shaw Trust, a charitable organisation with more than 2,500 employees and a turnover of more than £200 million.
I have extensive experience both agency and client side, and understand the importance of targeted creativity, effective project management and the necessity to deliver within deadlines and budgets.
A well-respected manager and mentor, keen to develop and progress colleagues across the organisation I champion innovative approaches. I am enthusiastic and encouraging, believing in empowering employees to be brand ambassadors and engage in their organisation's goals and aims. I possess a can-do attitude alongside tactical and strategic marketing and organisational development skills.
