Spot A Home is one of the fastest growing startups in the world since 2014 .It has expanded to 16 cities and keeps growing really fast while entering the second year. I am responsible of the business development in company’s expansion to Istanbul, Turkey. I am doing sales of the product and services on the phone and sometimes reaching out to create partnerships to develop the business. Also I am responsible for coordinating the ground operations in Istanbul.
I participated in the forensic investigation and financial analysis of GlaxoSmithKline and BankAsia by going through all the SOPs, expenses, accounts, linked companies, other relevant reports and provided companies with feedback and consultancy. Also worked with Big Data where special computers were used to analyze the big data files. Besides, for the team’s marketing activities, I made a big market research and created a file containing all the names and contacts of the insurance companies in Turkey, the striking facts, actual values, development progresses, strategies, merges, speculations, future predictions and hot prospects. In addition, I prepared a presentation for the whole team about the details considering the fraud investigation and interview (interrogation) techniques.
Worked in Turkey’s largest air conditioner production factory. Mainly worked in the supply-chain, planned and kept track of the supplies. Helped the team to maximize the efficiency of the inventory around Europe. Involved in a project with the supply-chain and sales departments, where I had to go through the financial and supply reports and come up with the most optimum production for the best sale with a given budget. ( Considering the production of air conditioners with different materials where the life time, prices, preferabilities of the both materials differ.) During the rest of the remaining time I worked with industrial engineers who were involved in business strategy.
Petrochemistry manufacturing factory in Istanbul, which produces plasticizers and raw materials for plastics. I worked in the supply-chain and marketing departments, which were involved in the export to Europe (Greece, Romania, Germany, Bulgaria, Barcelona ), and the market in Turkey. I also worked with the finances department where the risk analysis was done by calculating the dollar currency and future assumptions for the customers.
