Born in the Welsh mountains of Ceredigion, Alun is an award winning commercial film director specialising in imaginative and ambitious cinematic narratives that remain focused on the heart in the story’s centre.
Unashamedly optimistic and enthusiastic, Alun has worked throughout Europe for enormous global clients like Canon cameras, Microsoft or Ducati motorcycles but also with local brands with smaller budgets but just as epic ambitions. Alun considers himself lucky to have experience directing everyone from film and television actors to athletes and rock-stars to celebrity chefs and young children.
Often commissioned by clients because the brief involves really bringing out personalities in the characters, locations or working with families in what may otherwise have been rather dry subject matters, Alun is never happier than when called upon to tell a new story layered with creativity, joy and a sprinkling of soul.

- Plate to PlatePeter Gast: the humble, soft spoken Michelin Star chef who, after working in London, realised he didn’t need to adopt the ‘Gordon Ramsey style’. Gast returned to the Netherlands to create a harmonious kitchen. The use of local, organic produce influenced his menu and led to his first Michelin Star at the age of 25.
- Canon - Portrait of a WrestlerJames Musselwhite was a jobbing photographer making a career out of weddings and taking photographs of newborn babies.
