I graduated from a Degree in Visual Arts and Design in Advertising Graphics from Diez Art School in Madrid (Spain) in 2016 where I full filled an exchange at the ESAM Design School Paris in third year BA. My graduation project, got a 9.5/10 by the graduation jury and received the A’ Design international award in 2016 for social design. I designed a new typeface (the bolder one used in this text) which had an included set of icons for food allergies. It is now used for food safety under an Open Source license and saves lives in many countries. I got curated in ARCO (Madrid Contemporary Art Fair) in 2012 with the project Street Alphabets, in collaboration with Helsinki based designer Suse Miessner as Norway was the guest country. Back in Spain, I made an internship at TBWA, in 2015, in the Madrid offices working on various campaigns for Forbes Top 200 companies. TBWA was that year awarded as the 4rd best agency worldwide. I won two startup prices by Telefónica in 2014 in Madrid and by Google at in Paris in 2015 for my excellence in problem solving and fast prototyping design. I became a guest design writer in Gràffica Info, the most well-read design publication in Spanish worldwide (8 million monthly readers), with more than 500.000 reads in my opinion articles. A typographer friend of mine who did the MA Type design at KABK in the Hague advised me to push my boundaries further. I decided to discover how design was in the Netherlands. In 2016 I started a BA in Graphic Design at ArtEZ University of the Arts (Arnhem, the Netherlands) where I achieved the first year. I got curated in two gallery exhibitions in Breda and The Hague and my work got featured in SomoS artist residency in Berlin (Germany) where I also modelled for photographer Ari Versluis, co-creator of Exactitudes® and for Harvard Graduate School of Design. After that year, in 2017, I took a research year traveling more than 50K miles between Aruba, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, France, Germany, Iceland, the Netherlands, Morocco, Peru, Spain and the U.S.A. This fruitful experience connected me with myself and to my practice as I got in touch with other ways of living and creating. Living in native communities in the Amazon, going on the backseat of the bike of a policeman in Quito while going downstairs from the barrios to the historic center or meeting Native Americans in Arizona were some of the coolest experiences I ever had. I have collaborated with artists, art directors and designers and love to work in teams. I am known for my capacity to have ideas and create initiative. My Interdisciplinary approach in visual and technical research holds aesthetics at the center of my practice with a love for branding and minimalism. I made all my under college studies between the prestigious French Lycée of Madrid and a boarding school in the Pyrenées mountains in France. Therefore, French and Spanish are my mother tongues and I can speak and write fluently in English.
