My name is Alvie, as you can read somewhere on this page. I am 18 years old and I am currently studying BA Advertising and Marketing with an Add+Vantage in Social Networking for Business at Coventry University.
In my free time you can catch me writing a music blog, acting, rapping or beatboxing somewhere on the internet. I currently write for a blog called Blatantly Blunt, where I will write up a short overview of new Rap/Grime/Hip-Hop/R'n'B songs or any other urban pop music press releases that come my way.
I am also an actor, I tend to only do screen acting and I have acted numerous project across the years ranging from: TV Commercials, Short Films, Music Videos and Interactive games. I am currently represented by Red Talent Management. My most recent work consists of an Adidas commercial for a Manchester United footballer set to be broadcasted in early 2017.
As a rapper, i've been writing lyrics and rapping for about 2 years now. What started off as a hobby to do whenever I got bored turned into a lot more with me gaining recognition for my videos and flows. I have recently featured on BBC Introducing Coventry and Warwickshire alongside the rap group I am in called 'The Society', where we were interviewed and asked to perform a rap cypher. At this moment in time I do not have any recorded solo material, however I feature heavily on fellow Society member, Skatta's album called 'Skatta'D Pieces' which can be steamed on Spotify, Apple Music or alternatively, you can purchase it from iTunes.
As a beatboxer I have been beatboxing since I was a little kid, I taught myself how to beatbox as I enjoyed music and would often find myself just creating beats as I was going on about my daily life being a kid. My beatboxing skills were picked up by a talent manager who signed me up, to which I was then scouted by a talent scout who eventually got me into a TV commercial as a beatboxer at the age of 9 as the lead actor/beatboxer. Also, one of my videos of me beatboxing as a kid currently has over 2million views on YouTube.
That's me, I am a creative guy who is looking to improve his creative skills through the correct experience that can both benefit his degree when it comes to finding a job and his general professional/workplace skills.
