About me
Over a decade in youth media with over 6 years in branded social content and a seasoned keynote speaker across Europe. I love exploring why people enjoy sharing advertising with their friends! I am also a Role Model and Mentor at Media For All (MEFA) helping BAME talent enter and thrive in the media industry. I now help brands and agencies to connect with the new powerful digital generation of kids and teens more effectively and safely to support the continued growth of SuperAwesome, one of Europe’s fastest growing companies and now part of the Epic Games family. Our mission: to make the Internet safer for under 16s by powering the digital media ecosystem. Built specifically to ensure total digital privacy (COPPA/GDPR-K) for kids, our technology footprint reaches over 500M families every month all over the world. Previously I egged on the world to take bigger creative leaps at Beano Studios, THE award winning rebellious content studio driven by insight and data, creating and delivering mischievous and parent-trusted entertainment for kids and families worldwide - more than the classic comic. I was integral to the launch of The Hook Labs which was recognised in 2018 for numerous Grand Prix awards including Content Studio of The Year at the British Media Awards 2018 and Social Media Agency of the Year at the Drum Agency Business Awards in addition to winning 8 campaign of the year awards for the Jigsaw campaign with Lionsgate and Carat UK beating major names such as FT, Disney, Lonely Planet etc. I have featured in Mayple's 12 "UK Disruptive Marketing Influencers" and episodes of the Social Day and GOATpod podcasts which really impressed my parents! Outside of work, I am passionate Netflix binger (especially RuPaul's Drag Race) as well as boxer, winning my first White Collar fight at The Troxy in 2017 and raising money for the NSPCC (currently training for my comeback fight )

BAME representation in media owners as well as media and creative agencies remains significantly below the communities in which we live. Media for All was set up to help encourage more BAME talent into media and to provide a support and mentoring network to ensure they thrive in the media industry that we all love. I am proud to be part of that team of awesome talent (assembled by Naren Patel), focused on developing and amplifying BAME talent offering mentoring and guidance.
