With an academic background in Information and Communication Systems Engineering, Agathou co-founded e-skafos.gr, the busiest online boat classifieds service in Greece. She has worked as an editor for the Greek editions of House & Garden and Glamour magazine and has also acted as Director of Social Media for Glamour. Agathou had a long spell as editor for The Next Web . She moved to Director of Social Media for The Next Web developing their digital strategy and managing their vast community. As a consultant she has worked with companies like Studio XO, Innovate UK and built Front Row I/O an organization by London College of Fashion, enhancing the capabilities of new enterprises that bridge the gap between the fashion and tech industries. She has worked also in VC on platform, strategy and community.
