An ambitious, highly collaborative and focused Media graduate with a 2:1 degree, specialising in theory based research on consumer culture and creative use of several Adobe software’s. Possess relevant experience and transferable skills in planning, creative communication and sales gained during a year-long position in sales and events. In addition, acquired valuable skills in social media marketing, maintaining client relationships during the planning of projects at Champions UK Plc. Able to balance several high priority tasks having worked part-time and still achieving strict deadlines as a full-time student. An individual with a true interest in creating content, fast-paced environments and regular change of tasks in the workplace. With a passion for creativity, love for good food and of course being a people person, I would make a great addition to your team! Although currently living in Leicester, I am looking to relocate for opportunities.

My short time at Champions (Uk) plc gave me great knowledge about the ins and outs of working for a well established and respected Media agency. The company sets itself a part with core values and a family feel for not only the employees but also their clients. During my time I was in charge of prepping for the Derby Telegraph Business Awards. From organising nomination entries to looking after sponsorships and weekly press for the awards, through these responsibilities my understanding of the corporate events world has grown. Additionally, on a daily basis I was liaising with newspapers and working against an editorial schedule. I successfully hit targets, achieving above the previous year’s award entrees count which did not go unnoticed by management or even the CEO. I have great gratitude for the company and value my time spent at Champions (UK) plc.

This role was a major stepping stone into Events, Social Media Marketing, and Sales. I was required to provide excellent communication when contacting clients, a variety of creative and fresh techniques to enhance sales and client experience, and impeccable time management and multi-tasking during the running of several events at one time. The role came with great responsibility, being the first point of contact for clients, and providing all staff from the chefs and floor staff, to the management team with an updated schedule daily. Being in charge of events, I was to ensure throughout shifts each member knew what was required of them during the setting up and running of events. Providing a space for my leadership skills to emerge, I welcomed this responsibility and continued to grow during my time at the bar. The reputation of the bar was also in my hands, as I was to assist in the production of creative content for the bars social media accounts. I was able to truly understand the importance of nurturing client relationships during my time here, my Manager Eden Heath exemplified this well, and was an amazing individual to learn from during my time at the bar.
