Amanda Galal is a Graphic Designer, who is currently studying Branding & Identity in The London College of Communication. Prior to which she completed a BA in Graphic Design at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens and worked for two and a half years in a couple of Advertising companies based in Greece. Her degree in T.E.I entailed a comprehensive mix of theoretical and practical subjects such as graphic novel art, photography corporate identity and development of promotional campaigns, typography, illustration, web design and a short introduction to branding and identity, which triggered her interest in design. During her studies, she learnt that the core of a design lies within the combination of art, technology, perspective and psychology, all of which are strongly entwined. She is particularly enthusiastic in specializing in multiple design branches within advertising such as design strategy, branding & corporate design and online design, as she believes a powerful brand image is the way your customer perceives you. It is also significant to build a bridge between the brand and the consumer and create an emotional attachment to the product. She strongly believes that the communications process is the prime means by which each identity emerges.
