About me
I am both a freelance writer based in Tunbridge Wells and Editorial Production Assistant based in London. I am reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team as well as on my own initiative. I am currently enrolled with the Open University studying English Literature and Creative Writing. Through my studies and work experience, I am refining my skills as a creative writer and blogger.
My career in insurance has given me fantastic organisational and computer skills, whilst my experience at a publishing company has given me an insight into the industry and developed my ability to pay close attention to detail, work to targets and deadlines and prioritise my workload. I’m a quick learner, very approachable, self-driven and have training experience.

Provide support to the effective operation of the Editorial Production department
Act as the main point of administrative contact for all stages of submission for Bine & Joint Research
Validate all new submissions and resubmissions, supporting authors where needed and processing plagiarism checks
Monitor the Editor-in-Chief’s workflow
Chase overdue reviews
Edit figures for publication using Illustrator and Photoshop and update outsource process when needed
Produce advertisement pages using InDesign
Process production checks and edits on papers at different stages of the publication process
Compile the Table of Contents
