Amber Florence Davies is a contemporary embroidery designer. Being trained to use Wilcom software to an industry standard throughout her degree she explores the possibilities of what can be achieved through the progression of embroidery. Intertwining the use of hand embroidery and hand crafted embellishments throughout her work, Amber creates unique pieces that reflect a personal connection through different themes. In addition, the development of her work has initiated a use of SMART textiles to create visual surface interest, especially in the development of hand crafted embellishments. Welcoming challenges and opportunities are key within her development and growth as a designer. Amber hopes to explore a versatile career working within the textiles industry.
