I am a multi award-winning jeweller and 3D CAD designer specialising in combining traditional goldsmithing techniques with digital technologies such as Rhino, ZBrush & 3D scanning.
I enjoy exploring folkloric and architectural themes to create fine jewellery and jewellery-related products, produced using ethical and sustainable materials.
Projects
- 14ct Gold fairy body jewellery collectionThe graduate collection for my final degree show, where I designed and made a collection of 14ct Yellow Gold multipurpose jewellery for body piercings. Each piece features a fairy with wings modelled from 3D scanned plants, and I utilised various CAD programs in addition to traditional bench skills for the final pieces. I also created castle-inspired presentation boxes to house the pieces, as well as a point of sale display with a life-sized form.
- CAD Bridal Set DesignMy design submission for Weston Beamor's CAD bridal set design competition, which placed 3rd. The set is inspired by rivers flowing along patchwork fields, and consists of a nested engagement ring and wedding ring, asymmetric earrings, and a pendant, all set with a variety of semi-precious and synthetic gems in vivid colours.
