About me
Born and raised in Western Australia but now based in Toronto, Ameesha is a creative who loves telling stories through illustration, design and motion graphics. Her work strikes a balance of both conceptual and graphic and she often uses vibrant gradients and layered, textural details to bring her illustrations to life. She loves working on a broad range of topics including science & tech, social & human issues and the environment. Her work spans across editorial and commercial projects, style frames, animation and art direction for TVC’s and digital platforms, and both on-air and off-air brand campaigns. She has worked on projects for brands including Google, Disney, Discovery Channel and MTV and her illustrations have been recognized at worldwide events such as Pictoplasma and the Brooklyn Sci-Fi Film Festival. It has been one of the most rewarding decisions and I have worked on some amazing projects with studios and brands such as Google, Disney, PayPal, Crinimo Studio, Mighty Nice and Digital Dimension. I am currently represented as an illustrator in the US by Totally Reps.

    Responsibilities included, but were not limited to, creating motion graphics packages for major television productions including the Much Music Video Awards, designing and executing high level brand campaigns for platforms such as Crave TV, content creation and illustration for on-air and digital properties and conceptualizing and executing ideas for key art, show titles, print campaigns and pop-up events. This role has allowed me to acquire a strong skill set in art direction and illustration across varied mediums.
