About me
I am a dedicated & self-motivated worker with experience as an Administrator, Recruitment Manager and Freelance Soprano within the not-for-profit and creative industries. This has rendered me proficient in Microsoft, PageUp & Tessitura Systems, Canva, CTM, Social Media, Presenting, Languages, and Interpersonal Skills. It also gives me the ability to quickly adapt to new systems and programs.
In addition to my experience in the Box Office & Ticketing team for the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, I have regularly provided administrative support and designed content & marketing for other entities within the creative arts industries. My most notable contributions were likely to the UQ Opera Society and the University of Queensland Singers, whose social media presences I took great pride in resurrecting while I was involved.
While working concurrently with the Australian Red Cross for the past 3 years, I have supported Emergency Services Queensland in a variety of ways; formatting, design, editing, research, and managing volunteer recruitment, as well as Workforce & Operations support during activations. I particularly enjoy constantly learning and building upon the skills that I have honed while working in both the Not-for-profit and Creative Arts industries.
My background as a classical vocalist (and part-time violist) combined with the Australian Red Cross Emergency Services means I am accustomed to working collaboratively with colleagues and actively taking initiative in order to deliver under pressure. Therefore, an opportunity to work in a dynamic, busy team aiming to make a difference particularly appeals to me.
