Whilst at university, my confidence and knowledge have increased greatly. I have experienced new opportunities both on and off-campus. On-campus, I have learned skills in Visual Merchandising, Styling, Adobe Software, and Sketchup. These skills have improved my working ability incredibly and I am eager to bring them into the workplace. Off-campus, I have been able to land a fantastic job with Ted Baker in Selfridges and liaise with people from loads of places in the world, expanding my cultural knowledge and social skills.
Young Enterprise AwardThe Redhill AcademyThe Young Enterprise Award was given to a small team and I. We introduced a new fashion brand called Vindæ, deriving from the word 'vintage' in Latin. Here, we upholstered, repaired and restyled unloved clothing and sold these online to give them a new life. The focus of the project was sustainability and charity. All profits made were given to charities which had directly supported team members in the past.
