DESIGN ASSISTANT DUTIES:
- Assisting the designer in daily tasks and decision-making
- Creating initial design sketches and ideas
- Fabric manipulation and textile research and development
- Using data from previous seasons' sales figures to design future seasons
- Concept research and development
- Print development and placement
- Pattern drafting, development and finalising
- Set building for London Fashion Week Presentation/show
- Assisting the team during Look Book photoshoots
- Sewing toiles, show samples and SMS samples
- Ensuring all samples are completed to the highest standard and ready for Paris Showroom
PRODUCTION AND MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES:
- Assisting the team at the sales showroom in Paris
- Creating CAD drawings for tech packs
- Creating tech packs
- Liaising with factories to make SMS samples
- Visiting factories to QC all production samples
- Managing interns and delegating tasks
- Using Zedonk to manage Raw Materials, Product Lists and Orders
- Using Gerber to finalise production patterns
- Implementing systems to improve planning and collection cycle
