About me
At the moment I am enthusiastically engaging in personal, independent and collaborative, creative projects following on from my recent graduation from University of Kent with a BA (Hons) in Film. My field of interest lies specifically with animation, though I also like to crossover into, and include, film-making and arts & crafts such as textiles. I have worked on film projects as an Assistant Director during and outside of my time at University, edited videos and have experience in directing professional and non-actors. I have worked on animated pieces also, using claymation, stop-motion and some drawing. My main ambition is to become a stop-motion animator, to write and create animated films, both short and feature length.

During my second year of college at the age of 17, I was scouted by hair stylist Jonathan Corby to model for an upcoming show, Davine's Worldwide Hair Tour, which would involve an artistic and creative haircut and a catwalk routine with other models. This was at the Freemasons Hall down the road from their salon. Later I did another catwalk show at the Excel center, representing their brand and their image at a hair & beauty convention held a couple of months later. This role was an absolutely incredible experience, I met lots of different, creative people who were so inspiring and who's interests laid in various different fields. It really built my confidence to be put out there on the catwalk in front of hundreds of people performing a choreography with the other models, whilst representing something I love and support, being inventive and creative with an amazing medium, hair, and the Brand that creates these amazing layers and colors, Allilon.

The course involved some film practice, the main content of the course being film theory & research. I explored various different aspects of film and some animation during my three years. I have gained a much deeper understanding of all aspects of film, and have learned some more specific fields that took my interest, such as Animated Worlds.

The course offered an exploration of the base areas of art & design. For my final project, I chose one pathway, animation. I created a short film along-side sketchbooks illustrating the journey to the final outcome of my work.
