Spent two weeks at Rhino records as a general admin assistant, working with licensing, marketing and digital. Successfully aided with YouTube and Spotify optimisation and producing label copies. Also assisted with catalogue maximisation on streaming services to drive new traffic and aiding with mailouts which resulted in higher levels of engagement and click through rates. Also doing data admin and trend spotting for the playlist team.

Gained some relevant academic experience in music through my sociological dissertation and a unit in the Sociology of Popular Music. My sociological dissertation focused on ageing music subcultures specifically ageing clubbers. Achieving a 2:1 in both respectively. Both gave me an excellent understanding of the historical and continued cultural relevance of music in society. Spent a term also at McGill University in August – December 2017, on exchange.
Student Representative for the Erasmus Network during my degree, acting as the society Trip Coordinator.
