Work history

- London, United KingdomInternship
I worked with the Telegraph Women's Sport department writing articles and features on big names in women's sport. I worked in a busy news room and had tight deadlines to write up press releases and articles. I also worked outside the office, covering live matches for the Premier 15s. Lastly, while working there I managed the TWS social media outlets, scheduling posts, meeting with management and design teams to organise campaigns. As part of this I also created animations, videos and digital illustrations to go on the Telegraph social channels using the Adobe suite.
JournalistThe Sunday Times
- FranceInternship
Over July, I have worked for the Sunday Times, following the whole of the Tour de France. I have written features pieces for the Sunday Times Sports section.
As part of this role I was also responsible for shooting, scripting, and editing short documentary style videos that would be viewed social media. The videos received between 10k-20k views and helped increase the following of the twitter account I was managing to 74.3k followers.
This was an intense role where there was constant travel, tight deadlines for articles and online posts. I attended multiple press conferences in French and English and worked to transcribe them and interview key people of interest.
