During my time prior to University and during, I experimented in a wide variety of disciplines and was drawn to photography. Both the power to capture and then manipulate and retouch an image intrigued me. Satisfying both loves of mine, the instant capture and then the post-produced artwork as an outcome. Throughout university though I began gravitating more towards the retouch and 'making' process opposed to the capturing process, encouraging me to pursue digital manipulation and digital art-working whilst my peers of the photography pathway stuck to the traditions and fundamentals of the camera. I have a quirky, unique and creative mind-set behind my work, inspired from the weird and wonderful innovative ideas that constantly fill my head.
As a person, I am bubbly, ambitious, self motivated and love absorbing advice and experience from others around me. I'm always seeking a way to take on more responsibility in the work place e.g. progressing to supervisor to take on more tasks and manage a team, taking on social media marketing for a business or jumping at the chance to design promotional material for a workplace to improve my portfolio.
