    The focus of my role is to generate online sales through global digital channels for Burleigh Pottery – eComm (Shopify), email (Responsys & Klaviyo) and social media (organic/paid). I continue to cover brand marketing and I’m involved in NPD. A balance of creative and commercial, I forecast stock and plan activations and stories based on consumer behaviour research, data analysis (Google Analytics) and digital trends. Each week, I update and add new stock to the Shopify website, merchandise pages, decide on discounts/ promotions, write/schedule marketing emails, write/schedule/monitor social posts, build relationships with influencers, plan content creation (Canva and Photoshop) including blogs, help pre/on-set/post with photoshoots and respond to adhoc PR requests for product loans. • I inspired Apprentice Mini Teapot Ornaments and pushed for the Ceramic Tumblers. • I’m solely responsible for increasing Burleigh’s online sales by 33% YOY and Black Friday sales by 72% YOY. I achieved this with my attention to detail, passion and trying new techniques like making social media posts shoppable, merchandising the search results to show best products as a priority and adding new lifestyle imagery. • Presented with the challenge of how to increase retail footfall, I created ‘Factory Shop Friday’, which informs consumers about the Burleigh Shop using photos I take. • I’ve built a loyal community on our channels with a social media strategy to grow followers and engagement on Instagram and Facebook. This has proven to deliver sales and foster relationships with hospitality venues, retailers and distributors such as Chiltern Firehouse, The Ned, Wilderness Reserve and Wedding Present Company.

    Creative, collaborative and commercial, I joined as maternity cover for the Brand Manager at Burleigh Pottery. I was the only one on the team, responsible in full for the global brand marketing strategy, 360 marketing calendar, content planning, copywriting, campaigns and overseeing eComm/online sales/NPD. I planned, wrote, uploaded product descriptions, blogs, emails, scheduled social posts using Later, sorted adhoc PR requests and brochures. • With the help of a Developer, I redesigned and upgraded burleigh.co.uk with a new Shopify theme to improve mobile optimisation as mobile is the most used device. • I developed and led the ‘All Made Here’ campaign celebrating provenance, authenticity and quality, with PR support to grow brand awareness and desirability. • I elevated the brand with new premium lifestyle assets, social videos and editorial content, resulting in a spike of premium interiors influencers wanting to work with us. • With limited resource, I reviewed, removed duplicate reports and streamlined processes to make tasks more efficient.
