About me
Amy Hutson is a journalist who has written for titles from The Guardian to Real People. As well as freelance writing, she is also a counsellor working in private practice and for a school.
For the past four years, she was editor of the offline and online versions of Your County magazine, which saw a 30 per cent increase in readership since she joined the title.
Amy studied journalism at Sheffield College, before becoming a reporter at the Matlock Mercury. She then went on to launch a new shopping supplement at the Northamptonshire Telegraph, where she was a feature writer.
She has also worked in PR, looking after fashion and beauty brands from start-up to global brands.
