Since setting up my freelance PR services, I have worked across a variety of campaigns helping raise the profile of emerging artists within the urban music scene in London. I have been hired by musicians, artist management teams and event promoters to implement creative strategies and write engaging copy to help gain media exposure and social media visibility. I have secured my clients radio play on Capital Xtra, Reprezent, Radar Radio and Pulse 88. I got a client an interview with BBC Introducing on BBC Three Counties Radio to play his new track and discuss his journey as an artist on Edward Adoo's show. I have secured multiple live performance slots with ILUVLIVE new artist showcase and the Jigsaw Festival at Camden Assembly in August 2018. I have worked closely with event promoters to help with social media content and marketing to target specific audiences to attend the events. As of October 2018, I was invited to BBC Radio 1xtra as a radio plugger to push new artists on my roster for the opportunity to get added to the prime time playlist. My clients have been added to major Spotify and Apple Music playlists. I have created a number of digital media kits for artists incorporating engaging copy, artist biographies, photo editorial and video using my Adobe Suite skills. During this year I acquired football agency SRV Sports Group as a client who manage professional Welsh International footballer David Cotterill. Following the first press release in June about an impending free signing to a new club, Cotterill was approached to do an interview with BBC Sport Wales about his battle with mental health issues throughout his sporting career. In October, I created the press release and statement to announce his retirement from pro football which received more than 10 articles online including Sky Sports, BBC Sport and MSN as well as regional press from his previous club areas Birmingham, Bristol and Sheffield. I have now secured a radio run including interviews and live performances with BBC Radio London, Reprezent, Rinse FM, Foundation FM, securing radio play and playlisting from BBC Radio 1xtra, Westside and Pulse 88 - alongside a multitude of daily digital press coverage and interviews with online music magazines.
