About me
I am a London based choreographer and movement director, interested in telling old stories in new ways. Primarily working in theatre, I use physical theatre and contemporary dance style to create original narrative work. Classically trained, I graduated in 2010 with a BA in Musical theatre from CPA Studios; I gained a PG Cert in Collaborative Theatre Making in association with Frantic Assembly; and an MA in Movement Directing and Teaching from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

Ox Production presents: ‘Twelfth Night’ (In Lockdown) 07th -11th July @ 18:15 60-minutes, 12 characters, 7,500 words & One Actress! A fast-paced comedy with a love triangle, a case of mistaken identity, and a pair of yellow stockings! During the first lockdown (April 2020) Orla Sanders performed the whole of ‘Twelfth Night’ LIVE on Facebook to raise money for Personal Protective Equipment for Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals where her sister works as a Covid nurse. Now coming to Brighton Fringe, Orla will once again take on this raucous Shakespearean comedy as she did during the lockdown all alone but this time with a live in-person audience to watch her pull it off. Orsino is in love with Olivia, who is in love with Cesario, who is really Viola, who is in love with Orsino. Things get really complicated when Viola’s identical twin brother Sebastian arrives and falls in love with Olivia. There’s a lot of love and a lot of confusion but it all gets straightened out in the end (hopefully). Quotes from audience members of the Facebook LIVE performance: Fantastic performance! Absolutely brilliant! Sorcha Murphy Hahaha. Crying laughing at the Sir Toby party! Allison Watson That was amazing!!! How on earth do you do that?!!
