About me
http://www.amysuttonatelier.com/ As a graduate of BA (Hons) Fashion Atelier I have gained specific skills with an emphasis on craft, tradition and creativity; innovative design, draping, advanced creative flat pattern cutting, complex garment construction, couture sewing techniques, hand finishing, bespoke tailoring, flou soft sewing, flou fabric manipulation, bias cutting, corsetry, as well as computer aided design and fashion art and design theory. Additionally I have learned a great deal about time management, teamwork, motivation and perseverance. During my employment at Prevu London I have solidified these skills within a working environment, for menswear, womenswear and childrenswear.

  • Lookbook
LookbookThe collection concept is the mother board of a computer; its intricacy and continuous lines. The concept has informed design through innovative one piece pattern cutting, connotation to the connections in a computer. Each once separate section of the garment has been considerately pieced together, to create a fully connected pattern piece. The intricacy and delicacy of the mother board’s minute segments has translated into an attention to detail.
