About me
Ana Chis (Treehouse Illustration) is a Romanian Illustrator based in the UK. She attended the University of Suffolk, where she received a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design and Illustration. Ana is focused on the different contexts and functions of illustration and enjoys the playfulness of always challenging her ‘style’. Although she has an analogue background and all of her projects begin on paper, her practice is sustained by digital and traditional techniques equally. Ana specializes in Book Illustration and Design, with a focus on book covers, narrative illustration, and storyboarding. She finds inspiration in her place of origin, people and emotions, cinematography, folk tales, and symbolism – all of which reflect in her narrative-driven body of work.
