As an independent curator and a Master's candidate in Curating Contemporary Art at the Royal College of Art, I combine my academic and practical skills to create innovative and meaningful exhibitions. I have a BA in History of Art from Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México, where I graduated with academic distinction and an honorific mention.
I have extensive experience in exhibition planning and logistics, artist management, and curatorial dialogue writing, working with various institutions and platforms in Mexico and the UK. Some of my notable projects include "To Be Here With You" in collaboration with Southwark Park Galleries, "Today, 2021" inaugural exhibition for Nordenhake Gallery, the "Tierra Incógnita" exhibition at Biblioteca Vasconcelos, and the VIP Collector's Program at Zona Maco. My most recent role was as an Assistant Gallery Manager, where I contributed to the success of the gallery and its artists.
My passion for art history and theory drives my distinctive interdisciplinary approach, which bridges the realms of academia and the contemporary art scene. I am always eager to learn new perspectives and techniques, and to collaborate with other professionals and experts in the field. My goal is to reflect the diversity, complexity, and richness of contemporary art and culture through my curatorial projects.
