    Honours: award-winning thesisUniversidad del Rosario
My thesis, consisted in the creation of a project to raise collective awareness of historical memory in my home country, Colombia. My country is undergoing a peace process aiming to end our unfortunate history of violence, which has extended for decades, and I am sure that the only way to achieve a lasting peace, the reparation for victims, and the reconciliation of the different parts of society is by doing the historical exercise of acknowledging the crimes and the roots of the conflict. I proposed to do this through the arts, specifically by planning the audio-visual projection of on public spaces frequented by high-income urban residents, who are often removed from the violence which tends to concentrate in the countryside.
